Floral Tributes, Music & Catering

As funerals become more personalised, families are choosing to put their unique stamp on almost every aspect of the day, including music, flowers and catering. From a sentimental song that brings back fond memories, to your loved one’s favourite flower, the choice is up to you. And, as long as they comply with the rules of the religious or non-religious venue, we will do our best to accommodate any funeral flowers, music and catering request.

  • Funeral Flowers

Flower arrangements are a traditional way of paying tribute to a loved one at a funeral.  When words don’t come easy, they are a heartfelt way of conveying sentiments and thoughts.  We can help you to create a fitting tribute which will be supplied by our local florists.

  • Funeral Music

Almost unlike any other art form, music has the ability to express emotion and bring back wonderful memories of times shared with your loved one.  Whether it’s celebrating an extraordinary life with a piece of contemporary or classical music, or expressing you sorrows with hymns during a religious service, music can honour the lives of those who are no longer with us.

If you have specific songs or pieces in mind, all you have to do is let us know and we can arrange for them to be played during the funeral or memorial service.

  • Catering

It’s traditional for family and friends to gather after a funeral, to spend time together, to remember and celebrate the person who has passed away. Attendees will offer their condolences and support to the family at this difficult time. Dependant on the family’s wishes, this gathering can take many forms – from tea and sandwiches in a village hall to drinks in the local pub.

The dedicated team at Adams Read and Hocking is on hand to answer all your questions and discuss specific requirements of your funeral arrangements.
